Overview
Our research group is engaged in research on functional materials (especially soft materials) based on polymer chemistry and electrochemistry. Our research focuses on electrolyte materials (liquid electrolytes and ionic liquids), polymer gels, and colloidal dispersion systems to create new functional materials that manipulate the movement of ions and apply them to next-generation energy conversion and storage devices.
We also aim to provide a place where students can learn and grow, where they can develop the ability to undertake independent, original and creative research.
